Sunday School @ St Mary's Mount Pritchard

The Sunday School program at Saint Mary's Mount Pritchard has always been based on nurturing the spiritual growth of our students. We aim to educate children on their Orthodox faith through understanding of the Holy Bible and the church's traditions, as well as, participating in worship.
Our Sunday School lessons are based on the Orthodox Christian Education Commission of North America curriculum. The curriculum caters of all age groups and provides great materials on all areas of the orthodox faith.

We have three classes and six dedicated teachers, and we cater for children from the age of 5 to 16.

Sunday School Classes start 10am sharp and are held in the Church Hall. Sessions run for 1 hour and 15 minutes during Sunday's liturgy. On the last Sunday of every month an English Liturgy is held specially for all Sunday school children to cater for their liturgical education as well as ensure they learn the importance of attending liturgy and partaking in Holy Communion.
